Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health in Texas is seeking a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide in-home therapy services for children and young adults with developmental and functional needs. This role is based in Schertz, TX, with services across surrounding areas.

You will implement OT treatment plans under supervision, focusing on ADLs, fine motor skills, sensory integration, and development, while collaborating with families to promote functional independence

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license (Texas).
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Provide interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, sensory integration, and development.
• Support patients in achieving functional independence goals.
• Educate and empower families and caregivers for carryover in daily routines.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Document care in an electronic medical record system.
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising OT.
