Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home therapy for children across Texas service areas, including McAllen. The role offers full‑time and part‑time options with comprehensive benefits.

You will implement treatment plans under supervision, help improve ADLs and fine motor skills, and educate families to promote independence in daily routines. A Texas COTA license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted COTA license (Texas).
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement OT treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Provide interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, sensory integration, and development.
• Support patients in achieving functional independence goals.
• Educate families and caregivers for carryover in daily routines.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Document care in an electronic medical record system.

What You’ll Do

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision
• Provide interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, sensory integration, and development
• Support patients in achieving functional independence goals
• Educate and empower families and caregivers for carryover in daily routines
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document care in an electronic medical record system
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising

Qualifications

Required:

• Active, unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license (Texas)
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program
• Current CPR certification

Preferred:

• At least 1+ year of pediatric occupational therapy experience
• Home health experience
