CareOne Home Health is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for our growing Home Health business serving Stanislaus and Merced Counties. Mileage is reimbursed and driving time is paid.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an occupational therapist assistant curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Certified with the National Certification Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a certified occupational therapist assistant.
- Good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
- Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order.
Responsibilities
- Participate in ongoing evaluation of patient’s functional status and home environment as delegated by the registered occupational therapist.
- Teach new skills or retrain patients in daily activities lost due to illness or injury.
- Maintain clinical records and report changes in patient’s condition.
- Follow treatment programs and document patient responses and progress.
- Coordinate with other healthcare personnel involved in patient care.
- Attend inservices and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Identify patient and family needs for other services and assist with referrals.
- Instruct family/caregivers and other staff as delegated.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Supervised by the registered occupational therapist at least every thirty days, with ongoing communication documented.
