Job summary

MercyOne Health System in Davenport, IA is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. The OTA will support treatment across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, home health care, and outreach settings, assisting therapists and documenting progress in a patient-centered, caring environment.

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant at MercyOne, you will:

• Assist occupational therapists in providing treatment to patients in a caring, professional and efficient manner in settings that may include inpatient, outpatient, long term care, home health care and/or outreach services in the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations
• Provide treatment independently according to State practice guidelines
• Be responsible for assisting the therapist in reassessment
• Complete necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner

Schedule:

• 36 hours a week

• Day shift

Requirements:

• 2 year Occupational Therapy college program or equivalent experience

• Iowa state license

• Basic Life Support within 6 months of employment

• No experience required
