Job summary

Middle Park Health in the Colorado mountains is seeking an Occupational Therapist/Activities Director for a part-time role in Kremmling, CO, with coverage in Granby and Fraser. You will deliver quality OT services per physician care plans for inpatients, Skilled Care Unit, and outpatients.

The position includes activities planning for the Skilled Care Unit and eligibility for full benefits. Requires NBCOT, CO license, BLS, 3+ years OT experience, and EPIC EMR experience; compensation is $36–$59

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
• Current NBCOT certification and License to practice in CO.
• Three or more years of OT experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• EMR experience (EPIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality occupational therapy services per physician plan of care for inpatients, Skilled Care Unit and outpatients.
• Provide activities planning and oversight for the Skilled Care Unit.
• Collaborate with Rehabilitation Services Director and team.
• Support department goals and participate in care coordination.

Work in the mountains in Kremmling, CO

Middle Park Health (MPH) is a successful rural health system located in the High Rockies 1 1/2 hour west of Denver, CO with seven locations in beautiful Grand and Jackson counties where we have an abundance of year-round outdoor recreational activities. As a Level 4 Trauma hospital, MPH provides a range of services, including Emergency and Surgical Services, Rural Health Clinics, Rehabilitation Services Clinics, a Skilled Care Unit (SCU) and an Assisted Living Facility.

Reports to: Rehabilitation Services Director

Description: Under the direction of the Rehabilitation Services Director, the Occupational Therapist/Activities Director is responsible for the delivery of quality occupational therapy services in accordance with the physician’s plan of care for inpatients, Skilled Care Unit and outpatients. This position also includes Activities planning and oversight for the Skilled Care Unit,

This position is on a part-time basis for scheduled evals and treatments. Part-time employees are eligible for full benefits.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
• Current registration with the NBCOT and License to practice in CO
• Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred.
• Current BLS
• EMR – EPIC preferred

Status: Part-time $36 – $59 per hour depending on years of experience.
Location: Kremmling, CO with coverage in Granby and Fraser.
