Job summary

Rehab Center of the Rockies in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. You will provide screening, evaluation, and skilled therapy to our geriatric population, develop care plans, and contribute to discharge summaries while adhering to regulatory standards.

Eligible candidates hold an OT license and are open to clinicians at all experience levels, including new graduates.

Qualifications

• OT license required.
• New grads welcome; all experience levels considered.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver skilled, medically necessary rehabilitation interventions.
• Assist with patient transfers, standing/walking, and use of assistive devices as needed.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients and families about physical disorders and care options.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries meeting regulatory and clinical standards.

Rehab Center of the Rockies in Fort Collins, CO is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Part Time Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Open to OTs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
