Job summary

Pro Rehab is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join Truman Senior Living in Truman, MN. This role offers a full-time position with benefits and a supportive rural setting to build a robust caseload.

New grads are welcome. Wage range is $45–$55 per hour, with a $7,500 bonus paid over 18 months and potential tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Current MN Occupational Therapy license (OTR).
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to understand needs impacting daily activities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence.
• Provide therapeutic activities and training for motor skills and coordination.
• Educate and support patients and families with coping strategies and home modifications.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

We are looking for a Occupational Therapist to join the team at Truman Senior Living in Truman, MN! Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position with a flexible start and end time

Wage Range: $45 - $55 / hour depending on experience.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
• Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Provide patient and caregiver education such as but not limited to: coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life and independence.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
