Cassia is hiring an Occupational Therapist for the Allina Health Restorative Suites in Plymouth, MN. New grads are welcome to apply and a $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered. The position is full-time with competitive benefits and a strong focus on quality patient care.

You will evaluate patients, design and implement therapy plans, and collaborate with a care team to support daily functioning and independence across long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess a current MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License.
• Must have knowledge of state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Must communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to understand needs affecting daily activities.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve independence.
• Provide therapeutic activities to enhance motor skills and coordination.
• Educate patients and families with coping strategies and home modifications.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team at Allina Health Restorative Suites, a Senior Care Campus managed by Cassiain Plymouth, MN! We offer a competitive wage and benefits. Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position

Wage Range: $40 - $46 / hour

Location: 2775 Campus Dr, Plymouth, MN 55441 West Metro

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
• Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination.
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Provide patient and caregiver education such as but not limited to: coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life and independence.
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License.
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
