Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Willows, CA to help individuals regain independence and improve quality of life.

You will conduct assessments, apply therapeutic modalities, teach adaptive equipment, collaborate with physicians and other therapists, document progress, and educate families. 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, no weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and communication purposes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to help patients improve their motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing.
• Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices to increase their independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
• Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to promote independence and safety in their home and community environments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards.
