Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess clients' physical, emotional, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment, to help clients improve their motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing.
• Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Educate clients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve daily living skills and promote independence.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy and incorporate them into practice.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
