Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking per diem Occupational Therapists to join our interdisciplinary team in Massachusetts. You will develop and implement individualized care plans to promote patient independence, strength, and well-being, and participate in clinical meetings to ensure seamless care.

As an OT, you will screen residents, provide direct treatment, document progress, and stay current with licensing and CEU requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Occupational Therapy.
• CEU requirements per state licensure.
• Active licensure must be maintained; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients and develops care plans.
• Provides direct patient treatment per plans of care.
• Participates in clinical team meetings and decisions.
• Counsels patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Documents activities and progress in the documentation system.

Per diem Occupational Therapist openings at Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center!

Up to $50 an hour with weekly pay!

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote patient independence, strength, and overall well-being. You will also participate in clinical team meetings and decision-making processes to ensure seamless communication and effective care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Screens patients/residents and evaluates their needs, developing appropriate care plans

• Provides direct patient treatment in accordance with established plans of care

• Participates in clinical team meetings and decision-making processes

• Consults with and trains patients, residents, and caregivers

• Documents activities and patient progress according to company clinical documentation system

• Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations

• Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, and customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy

• CEU's per state licensure requirements

• Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained

• New graduates welcome!

• Ability to function effectively in a multi-faceted system and interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary

• Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care
