Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a per diem Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our care team. You will assist in data collection and provide direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, while contributing to program development.

Education includes an associate degree in OTA from an accredited program and MA OTA licensure; CEUs per state requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must have MA OTA license.

Responsibilities

• Under a physician’s order, provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatments include individual, supervised, and group sessions.
• Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.
• Consults with and trains patients, residents and caregivers.
• Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.
• Documents activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
• Demonstrates knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Participates in clinical program development and implementation.

Job description

We are hiring a per diem Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic care team at Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center!

Weekly pay up to $35 an hour.

As a COTA, you assist in the provision of collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist and participate in clinical program development.

Education & Experience:

• As a minimum, an associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program.

• CEU’s per state licensure requirements.

• Must possess an OTA license in Massachusetts.

• Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language.
