Job summary

Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring a per diem Occupational Therapist in Brockton, MA. You will assess residents, develop and implement care plans, and provide direct treatment within a general rehab caseload.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Occupational Therapy.
• CEUs required by state licensure.
• Maintain appropriate state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients/residents and develop care plans.

• Participate in clinical team meetings and decisions.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Document activities and progress in the clinical system.
• Understand Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.

Job description

We are hiring a per diem Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic care team at Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center!

Weekly pay up to $50 an hour.

As an Occupational Therapist, you provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment and consultation to a general rehab caseload while also participating in the clinical team process. You also provide teaching and training to caregiver staff and supervise other therapists, assistants, aides and students as required.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• CEU’s per state licensure requirements.
• Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients/residents and evaluates their needs, developing appropriate care plans
• Provides direct patient treatment in accordance with established plans of care
• Participates in clinical team meetings and decision-making processes
• Consults with and trains patients, residents, and caregivers
• Documents activities and patient progress according to company clinical documentation system
• Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, and customers
