Role Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide direct, hands-on therapy to pediatric clients in an outpatient clinical setting, focusing on activities of daily living, fine motor skills, sensory integration, and functional play. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, and communicating with caregivers about goals and strategies for home and school settings. The role requires close collaboration with other therapists and behavior analysts to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care. This is a full-time, on-site role located in San Antonio, TX, with regular interaction with families, clinical staff, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in pediatric populations.
• Foundational knowledge of Medicine and healthcare practices relevant to pediatric outpatient settings.
• Expertise in Pediatrics, including developmental milestones and common pediatric diagnoses.
• Effective Communication skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Current license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
