Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment services to pediatric clients, focusing on areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and school-related activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering direct therapy sessions, and documenting progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with families, teachers, and other healthcare providers to support carryover of strategies in home, school, and community settings. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Tampa, FL, with a combination of in clinic visits and some community based visits.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to assess and treat pediatric functional needs.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge as it relates to pediatric development, conditions, and safe therapeutic practice.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for collaborating with families, children, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Candidates should possess specialized skills in Pediatrics, including experience or training in child development and family-centered care.
• Active state license (or eligibility for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Experience in school-based or outpatient pediatric settings is beneficial, along with familiarity with sensory integration and play-based interventions.
