Job summary

Join a collaborative outpatient therapy team at Salem Health Rehabilitation Services, State Street, inside Salem Health Orthopedics in Salem, Oregon. You will help patients regain mobility, manage pain, and return to daily activities through individualized plans and hands-on care.

As an OT, you’ll evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, coordinate with on-site physicians, educate families on home exercises, document progress, and contribute to a compassionate clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) required.
• Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modality-based treatments
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic physicians and other specialists on-site to coordinate integrated, seamless patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and long-term recovery strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture focused on compassionate, quality care

Here, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives every day helping them regain mobility, manage pain, and return to the activities and routines that matter most to them.

In this role, you'll provide high-quality, patient-centered care across physical therapy, hand therapy, and other specialty outpatient services, working alongside a supportive team of clinicians and orthopedic specialists under one roof. You'll evaluate patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and guide patients through their recovery journey while building meaningful relationships along the way as you watch them progress toward their goals.
