Job summary

Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation in Salem, Oregon. This part-time role is 30 hours per week with a schedule of three 10‑hour shifts in a hospital-based outpatient clinic.

You will perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patients' functional abilities and promote home program education.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.

• Deliver goal‑oriented interventions focused on neuromuscular rehabilitation, upper extremity function, cognitive and perceptual retraining.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary group of providers—including PT, Speech, physicians, and care coordinators—to support comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on home programs, strategies, and resources to promote long‑term success and self‑management.
• Document clearly and communicate professionally to support smooth patient flow, team collaboration, and high‑quality outcomes.

Department:Outpatient Rehabilitation
Position Type:Part Time, 30 hours/weekly, Non-Exempt
Schedule:8:00 am – 6:30 pm, three 10-hour shifts, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Your role with us

As a physical therapist, you’ll play a key role in patient care by using evidence‑based treatments to help individuals with a variety of women's health, cancer‑related and orthopedic conditions, in a hospital‑based outpatient clinic setting. You’ll be part of a team that collaborates to create personalized therapy plans aimed at improving overall functional ability.

• Women's health interest preferred.Case load will be a mix of women's health,musculoskeletal and lymphedema diagnoses.
• Successful candidate will have clinical experience in the practice setting.
