Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Michigan seeks a Home Health Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence in their homes. You will collaborate with a diverse home health team to develop personalized plans of care that target daily living activities and safety at home.

The role requires an accredited OT program degree with an active Michigan license, 1+ year of home healthcare experience, CPR certification, and compassionate patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with active OT license in Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare.
• CPR certification and knowledge of home health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks at home.
• Work with a home health team to develop and implement plan of care.
• Assess patient deficits, set therapy goals, document progress.
• Assist patient with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination.
• Educate patient and family on plan of care and self-care.
