Job summary

Laurel Square Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia, PA, seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our post-acute team. You will develop individualized plans of care, work within an interdisciplinary team, and support residents recovering from surgery or illness.

You will supervise assistants and students, ensure compliance with state licensure, and use evidence-based tests to guide therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate from ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Education program.
• Must be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Possess good organizational and time management skills.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized plans of care to facilitate optimal performance using standardized tests and measures as evidence for improvement.

Laurel Square Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a 87-bed facility in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents as they recover from surgery or illness.

Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized plans of care to facilitate optimal performance using standardized tests and measures as evidence for improvement
• Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient
• Provide supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with state license requirements and professional standards
• Perform other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to residents

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an Occupational Therapist curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), or its successor organizations
• Must be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania
• Possess good organizational and time management skills
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
