Job summary

Flagship Therapy is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for our Greenville, FL post-acute rehab program. You will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, and deliver skilled therapies to support recovery.

This in-house role requires an OT license, welcomes new grads, and includes discharge summaries, patient and family counseling, and collaboration with the care team. Benefits include 401(k) with match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wounds, developing care plans per standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with regular standing and walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and other care providers.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us at Greenville Post Acute and Rehab in Greenville, FL. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapists for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Open to Occupational Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
