Flagship Therapy is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist in Monticello, FL to support our in-house rehab program. You will conduct screenings, develop care plans, and provide rehabilitative care for patients with physical functioning disorders and wounds, in line with regulatory standards.

The role involves standing, walking, and assistive patient handling, with diverse daily tasks and patient-centered care. License required; new grads welcome to apply for flexibility and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders to develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with patient transfers, standing, and ambulation as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including wound care and modalities.
• Provide counseling to patients and families about physical disorders.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.

Join our team and start making a difference! Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us in Monticello, FL. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated PRN Occupational Therapists for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
