Job summary

Children’s Therapy Services of Colorado (CTSC) is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to help children build meaningful skills for independence and participation through play-based, evidence-based therapy in a multidisciplinary setting.

You’ll collaborate with OTs, PTs, SLPs, BCBAs, physicians, educators, and families. Colorado OT license and NBCOT certification are required; CPR and First Aid by start date. Pediatric experience, including autistic/neurodivergent children, is preferred.

About the Role

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you’ll help children build meaningful skills that increase independence, confidence, self-advocacy, and participation. In this role, you’ll:

• Provide neurodiversity-affirming, evidence-based, child-centered, and play-based occupational therapy that respects each child’s individual strengths, needs, communication style, and sensory preferences.
• Support children through strengths-based interventions that promote regulation, autonomy, meaningful participation, and quality of life.
• Evaluate and treat children with a variety of developmental, sensory, physical, neurological, and cognitive needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing and regulation, self-care, feeding, visual-motor skills, play, and functional participation.
• Help children build skills for daily routines, school readiness, independence, self-advocacy, and participation in everyday life.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, SLPs, BCBAs, physicians, educators, and families as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Partner with parents and caregivers through education, coaching, and practical strategies that honor each child’s strengths and support progress beyond the therapy room.
• Provide Early Intervention services for children ages 0–3 and participate in IFSP meetings when applicable.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress.
• Bring a creative, adaptable, compassionate, and family-centered approach to your work.
• Hold a Colorado OT license and NBCOT certification; CPR and First Aid certification required by start date.
• Pediatric experience preferred, including experience working with autistic and neurodivergent children and children with a variety of developmental, sensory, neurological, and acquired needs.
