Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support patient recovery and independence through evidence-based therapy.

You will assess functional needs, develop individualized plans with the care team, deliver skilled interventions, and document progress to ensure quality outcomes. Collaboration with physicians, therapists, and families is essential to creating a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• State of Tennessee license required.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• BLS certification, current.
• Experience in Outpatient Pediatrics and Adult Acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care and excellent patient experiences.
• Lead by example and mentor therapy assistants or students; uphold mission and values.

Your role will include:

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care, safe environments, and exceptional patient experiences.
• Leading by example—providing guidance to therapy assistants or students and upholding HCA Healthcare’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence.

What qualifications you will need:

• State ofTennesseeOccupational Therapist license required
• Must be a graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current
• Experience in Outpatient Pediatrics and Adult Acute care highly preferred
