TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered therapy in collaboration with the care team. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and guide patients through goal achievement across the continuum of care.

The role emphasizes coordination with physicians and the care team to ensure optimal patient experience and outcomes. This on-site position requires Tennessee OT licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• State of Tennessee Occupational Therapist license required.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current.

Responsibilities

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Occupational Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of occupational therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients, in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. The Occupational Therapist completes patient assessments, and participates in developing and implementing individualized care plans, focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience. The Occupational Therapist provides or directs a majority of the patient’s physical therapy to support patients throughout home health and the continuum of care.

What you will do in this role:

• You willdemonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span andpossessthe ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirementsrelativeto his/her age-specific needs.
• You willdemonstrateknowledge to assess and adjust care in coordination with the health care team acrossthe continuum
• You will assess patients/familiesability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout hospitalization and in preparation for discharge
• You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients

What qualifications you will need:
