Job description

$8,000 sign‑on bonus.

Full‑time Occupational Therapist – Longmont, CO.

Pay: $42 – $53 per hour based on experience.

Duties
  • Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop an appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
  • Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness; modify services based on patient evaluation and refer as appropriate.
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
  • Provide comprehensive discharge summary of services per regulatory and clinical requirements.
