Boulder Canyon Health and Rehabilitation in Boulder, CO is looking for a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. The role involves screening, evaluating, and planning care for patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, delivering skilled therapies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The position supports a stable in-house therapy team within a post-acute care setting. We welcome new graduates and value a strong clinical foundation.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning as needed.
• Administer procedures within the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and care teams regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Boulder Canyon Health and Rehabilitation in Boulder, CO is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Open to Occupational Therapist at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
