Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for an elementary school setting in Longmont, CO. You’ll conduct evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to promote student success.

This role suits experienced school OTs or those transitioning into schools; 1.0 FTE, M-F, starting ASAP for the 2026-2027 year with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado State OT license required or eligible.
• CDE Certification with Special Service Provider Endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams.
