Job summary

Point Quest Group in Hawaii seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Kaunakakai school-based team. You will deliver OT services to K–12 students, develop targeted treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to enhance educational access.

The role requires Hawaii OT licensure, strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, and familiarity with IEP processes. Relocation assistance and travel may be available.

Qualifications

  • Active Hawaii OT license required.
  • School-based OT experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes preferred.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formal and dynamic OT assessments to determine students’ needs.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide direct OT services aligned with students’ IEP goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and triennial evaluations as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other providers to support classroom participation and progress.
  • Provide recommendations on accommodations and adaptive equipment.
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes and progress reports.
