Job summary

Orange Tree Staffing, LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-person, school-based services across Hawaii during the 2026/2027 school year. The role involves collaborating with students, teachers and families to support fine motor, sensory, and functional goals.

You'll develop evidence-based intervention plans, attend IEP meetings, and document progress while traveling within Hawaii. This position offers a travel stipend and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with state licensure.
• NBCOT Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s goals.
• Provide therapeutic services to improve daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory processing, and school participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom and educational activities.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear reports and recommendations to support student success.
• Monitor progress regularly, adjusting intervention plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, and compliance reports.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through research and professional development.

• Hours Per Week: 8 Hours Per Day | 40 Hours Per Week
• Dates of Contract: 2026/2027 School Year
• Additional: In Person Services. Travel Stipend Available
