Job summary

The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide assessments, care planning, direct treatment, and consult with the rehab team. You will also teach and train caregiver staff and supervise other therapists, assistants, aides, and students as required.

Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload while participating in the clinical team process. You will also provide teaching and training to caregiver staff and supervise other therapists, assistants, aides, and students as required.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate residents to develop care plans
• Perform additional assigned administrative duties, such as assigning and overseeing resident care activities, medical record oversight, and ordering supplies
• Provide direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care, under a physician's order
• Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program
• Consult with and train residents and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Active and unencumbered OT license in Massachusetts, or be in the process of obtaining one
• Newly licensed therapists are welcome to apply!
