Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers in home and community settings across California.

Join a multidisciplinary team delivering Occupational, Physical, and Speech therapies with a family-centered approach. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $1,000, flexible schedules and locations, mileage reimbursement, monthly tech stipends, and benefits for part-time employees.

Qualifications

• California OT license is required.
• Pediatric Early Intervention experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with families to set developmental goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and skills; ensure progress generalization.
• Deliver services in the child’s natural environment (homes, daycare centers, community settings).
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.

Sunny Days of California, Inc. specializes in the area of early intervention, serving children with developmental needs from birth to three years of age. Sunny Days is a nationwide agency and has programs throughout the state of California. Our programs are multidisciplinary, providing occupational, physical, and speech therapy, as well as child development services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide occupational therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements:

• California Occupational Therapy license
• Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
• Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
