Job description

The Occupational Therapist plans and implements treatment programs for patients across all age groups, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Supervises positions including Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides, and students/observers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute individualized therapy plans based on accepted practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Supervise and mentor supporting staff and trainees.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Relevant occupational therapy licensure or certification.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent mobility, and assisting patients.
• Physical ability to handle various activities, including making location and position changes.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to see with corrective eyewear and hear clearly with assistance.
• Willingness to handle emergency situations and wear protective equipment.
• Exposure to infectious diseases and chemicals may occur.
• Physical activities include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.
• May require irregular hours and work in various environmental conditions.
