Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an occupational therapy professional to supervise students, volunteers and observers while implementing treatment programs in a home-care setting.

You will plan and execute individualized patient plans across all ages within an interdisciplinary team, perform physical activities including lifting, and respond to emergencies while maintaining safety protocols. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and flexibility with irregular hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support positions such as students, volunteers, and observers in implementing occupational therapy treatment programs.
• Plan and execute individualized treatment plans for patients across all age groups, within an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform physical activities including lifting, assisting with patient care, and adapting to emergency situations.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, including wearing protective equipment, and handle potential exposures to infectious or hazardous materials.
• Participate in activities requiring physical strength, mobility, and stamina, and adapt to irregular hours if necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, change locations frequently, and assist patients.
• Strong mobility, stamina, and physical activity skills.
• Ability to see clearly with correction and hear clearly with assistance.
• Willingness to handle infectious, contagious, or hazardous materials, and wear protective gear.
• Comfort with continuous sitting, and occasional walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations and irregular hours as needed.
