Role & Responsibilities:

Plans and executes occupational therapy treatment programs for patients across all ages, from neonatal to geriatric, adhering to accepted practices. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Supervises occupational therapy assistants, aides, and students/observers, providing guidance and oversight.

Qualifications & Skills:

Requires strong physical stamina to perform duties, including lifting loads up to 50 pounds, frequent movement, and assisting with patient care. Must have adequate vision and hearing with or without aids. Ability to handle emergency situations, exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, and potential irregular hours. Proficiency in using protective equipment is essential.

Key Duties:

Develops individualized treatment plans, supervises staff, and ensures quality patient care. Maintains physical and visual/hearing requirements to perform duties effectively.

Physical & Visual/Hearing Requirements:

Ability to see clearly with corrective lenses, hear clearly with assistance, perform physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and twisting. May be exposed to hazards like infectious agents, toxic chemicals, and require protective gear. Occasional irregular hours and handling emergencies are expected.
