Job summary

Irondale Post Acute in Commerce City, CO is seeking an Occupational Therapist for full-time and PRN schedules. You will screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wounds, and deliver rehabilitative therapies in a post-acute setting.

The role requires an OT license; new grads are welcome. We offer flexible FT and PRN hours, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow within the rehab program.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory compliance.

Irondale Post Acute

in Commerce City, CO, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated Full Time and PRN Occupational Therapists for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time and PRN Schedules

Pay

$45 - $55 /hour based on experience

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
