Job summary

Springs Village Care Center in Colorado Springs is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. You will create and implement patient programs, with strong orientation and ongoing support as we grow.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitation, skilled and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring and repositioning as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehab plan: manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

SPRINGS VILLAGE CARE CENTER - COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

We are excited to announce our growth in Colorado and are currently seeking passionate Occupational Therapists to join our in-house crew at Springs Village Care Center. As a therapy professional on our team, you will have the freedom to create and implement programs to best meet the needs of your patients. Our therapy team expansion will be a sharp focus and you will receive strong orientation, training and on-going support as we grow!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Open to Occupational Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
