Job summary

Birch Agency in Circle Pines, MN is seeking a full-time, in-person Occupational Therapist to support students across two schools. You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP-aligned treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to promote independence and academic success.

The role emphasizes hands-on therapy, documentation, and compliance with district and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active State Occupational Therapist license
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of special education services, IEP processes, and goal development
• Ability to conduct evaluations, interpret assessment results, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations to identify students' functional and educational needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students
• Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills necessary for participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development, accommodations, and progress monitoring
• Recommend and support the use of adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records in accordance with district and state requirements

Pay : Starting rate of $45.00

Description: Are you passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in the educational environment? We are seeking a dedicated full-time, in-person Occupational Therapist to provide services within a supportive school setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with students across a variety of grade levels and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on student growth and achievement. This position is split between two schools.

What You'll Need
