Job description

Embark on an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in North St. Paul, MN. Youll be instrumental in fostering independence and participation for children across educational environments.

What youll bring to this role:

• Active Minnesota state Occupational Therapy license
• Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
• Ability to adapt intervention strategies to a broad range of student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with teachers, administrators, and families
• Flexibility to manage varying caseloads and adapt to different school assignments
• Dedication to promoting student well-being and inclusion

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, based on IEPs and district procedures
• Evaluating students to determine therapy needs within the educational setting
• Developing and implementing individualized interventions to support participation and functional skills
• Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
• Participating in student support meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Communicating progress and recommendations to staff and families effectively

This contract role is slated to begin immediately and is expected to last 3-4 months, with the possibility of extension. The position is full-time, totaling 37.5 hours each week, and offers a dynamic, supportive environment to utilize your skills and support student development.
