Job summary

Dignity Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life through tailored treatment plans and evaluations. You will work within interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and strive for high-volume patient care with a motivating, compassionate approach.

Applicants should be graduates of an accredited OT program, licensed in AZ, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensed by AZ State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.).

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.

Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.

To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, adaptable, exceptionally organized, and a personable, motivating team player.

• Meets or exceeds the productivity standard on an individual basis and at department level.
• Completes documentation of treatment minutes and enters electronic charges accurately and timely.
• Participates in continuing education and develops advanced skills that enhance and align with department, clinical and business development.
• Participates on internal/external task force, committee or board appropriate to diagnostic program per manager approval.
• Completes general and specialty competencies appropriate to clinical area for patient care management (General, ICU, FIM, DBS, Lung Transplant, Behavior management, MBS, FEES, etc). #AZEVREHAB

We are offering a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements (Required)

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting
• Licensed by AZ State Board of Occupational Therapy
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate

Preferred

• Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area
• Two (2) years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care
