Job summary

CHI Mercy Health in Oregon is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and quality of life. You will assess diverse cases, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while documenting thoroughly for a high volume of patients.

The role requires flexibility, organization, and a personable, motivating team player attitude. Shift: Days; Schedule: Monday - Friday. Student loan repayment and relocation assistance offered!

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Oregon Occupational Therapist License.
• AHA BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patient, family, and caregivers to determine prior function and home environment.
• Performs client tests, measurements and evaluations.
• Establishes measurable functional treatment goals.
• Plans and writes treatment programs; administers, evaluates and adjusts therapy.
• Monitors all patients under care.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.

Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.

To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, adaptable, exceptionally organized, and a personable, motivating team player.

• Interviews patient, family, caregivers, significant others to obtain information about prior level of function, home environment, family relationships, health and psychosocial history.
• Performs client tests, measurements and evaluations as indicated for the patient’s condition.
• Establishes measurable/functional treatment goals.
• Plans and prepares written treatment programs based on evaluation, age-related and diagnosis- related policies. Administers, evaluates and adjusts the treatment.
• Monitors all patients under his/her care.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Oregon Occupational Therapist License
• AHA BLS within 30 Days

Preferred

• Clinical experience dealing with a broad based rehabilitation facility

Pay Range

$45.04 - $67.00 /hour
