The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating residents’ functional abilities and developing individualized treatment plans to improve independence in daily living activities. Day-to-day tasks include providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, training residents in use of adaptive equipment, and collaborating with nursing, rehabilitation, and care teams to coordinate holistic care. The role involves documenting assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans, as well as educating residents, families, and staff on strategies to support safety, mobility, and quality of life. The Occupational Therapist will serve residents across skilled nursing and assisted living settings, supporting both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care needs. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bellingham, WA.
