Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to organize and conduct prescribed therapy programs designed to restore and optimize function for patients with injuries or illnesses. You will apply goal-directed activities to help patients reach their highest possible level of independence, in a setting across Maine and New Hampshire.

Qualified candidates will have a degree from an AOTA-accredited program, a current state license, and BLS certification with a valid driver’s license if home care

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapist program required.
• Licensure: Current applicable state license and BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Driver's license may be required for home care as per agency policy.
• Experience: One year of hospital/long-term care/home/outpatient OT experience preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapist program required.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as an Occupational Therapist required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Positions in Home Care will require current valid Driver's License with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
• Experience: One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system or outpatient Occupational Therapy department preferred.

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.
