Job summary

The Corvallis Clinic, part of Optum, is seeking a full-time Occupational Medicine Physician/Department Chair in Oregon. You will lead clinical and administrative activities across two locations, oversee staff, and provide specialized care for work-related injuries and environmental exposures.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Preventive Medicine, PM&R, or a closely related specialty (including Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with applicable experience).
• Unrestricted Oregon State Medical License or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Current DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Department Chair, overseeing two clinical locations and multiple staff.
• Care for patients referred from The Corvallis Clinic and external organizations in work-related injury/illness and environmental exposures.
• Partner with Operations Practice Supervisor on department operations and governance.
• Manage onboarding and develop leadership within the department.
• See up to 17–22 patients per day with 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-ups.
