Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program.
• Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collects subjective and objective health data from patients and communicates it to the provider.
• Contributes to the patient’s plan of care under supervision.
• Performs clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.
• Performs point-of-care testing and supports ambulatory care activities.
