Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is hiring a Medical Assistant in Pensacola, FL. The role supports patient care with DOT/non-DOT testing, vital signs, phlebotomy, and front/back office duties in a fast-paced center.

You will assist clinicians, manage patient flow, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding HIPAA and safety standards. A vocational/technical background with healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assisting program or equivalent direct patient care experience.
• Experience with HIPAA/PHI and patient privacy is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT/Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing as part of patient intake.
• Prepare patients for examinations, record vital signs and assist during procedures.
• Greet patients, check in/out, and manage front/back office documentation.
• Maintain supplies, clean rooms, and ensure HIPAA compliance in all tasks.
• Assist clinicians and triage to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent experience.
