Concentra, Inc. is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our patient care team in Appleton, WI. You will perform routine medical and testing procedures under supervision and support front/back office tasks to deliver excellent patient experiences.

The role requires DOT testing, vital signs, specimen collection, phlebotomy, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines in a fast-paced clinic setting. Vocational training or 1+ year MA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred, or 1+ year direct patient care as MA.
• Credentials must meet state requirements where employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for exams; take vital signs and facilitate ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (flu, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Handle front and back office duties; documentation and check-in/out.
• Maintain supplies, stock rooms, and keep equipment calibrated.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient privacy at all times.
• Participate in trainings and staff meetings; support workflow and patient flow.
