Job summary

Premise is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health at our Health Center in High Point, NC. Hours are Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

The RN will provide hands-on care, treat injuries, manage workers' compensation, and support safe return to work. Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing certificate or AS, RN license, COHN/COHN-S or emergency case management certification, and 3+ years in occupational health, ER, or ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• Three years’ experience as a RN in an occupational health clinic, ER, or ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care in a busy onsite clinic.
• Treat work-related injuries and manage workers’ compensation cases.
• Support employees’ safe return to work.
• Implement and monitor transitional duty programs for injured workers.
• Perform and document medical tests, treatments, and administer medications.
• Maintain medical equipment, infection control and patient records.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and departments on health programs.
• Assist with accident investigations and workplace safety initiatives.
