Job summary

Endeavor Health is recruiting a full-time occupational health physician for our Naperville market at Edward Hospital. The role involves direct medical services, pre-placement and return-to-work exams, and workers’ compensation management within a nationally recognized, physician-led system.

The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to collaborate across a large integrated health network, including Epic EMR integration and diverse patient care settings in the Naperville area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school.
• Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.
• Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise; DOT certification; MRO a plus; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining and treating clinical patients.
• Educates patients on wellness, prevention and early detection with materials for patients and families.
• Shares duties with other physicians to ensure availability of a physician at all times.
• Determines referrals based on examination and patient needs.
• Determines level of urgency for follow-up and referrals; exercises medical judgment in health care issues.
• Prescribes medical treatment and orders studies and ancillary services; documents in medical records.
