Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related health field
• Master's Degree in nursing or related health field
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current licensed nurse practitioner in the state where employed
• Maintain nurse practitioner licensure throughout employment
• At least two years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or emergency setting

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per approved techniques and protocols
• Observes and evaluates patient, records condition and reaction to drugs and treatments
• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures
• Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment as appropriate
• Draws blood and prepares paperwork for laboratory pickup
• Maintains and documents patient health records and ensures confidentiality
