Job summary

The Exchange in California is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Manager to oversee workers' compensation, disability programs, and wellness services for onsite staff at the West Coast Distribution Center.

The role requires an RN license, 4 years of OSHA-related experience, HIPAA training, and the ability to coordinate care, liaise with insurers, and lead health programs in a on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in managing OSHA issues, regulations, and processes as an occupational health nurse.
• Current, registered nursing license in the United States, valid in the position's state.
• HIPAA training must be completed within three months of occupying the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with obtaining health/work history, interpret results, and refer for further evaluation.
• Provide nursing care for occupational injuries/illnesses, emergencies and referrals.
• Counsel and advise employees on health issues and wellness opportunities.
• Serve as liaison with insurance carriers, employees and physicians; may participate in safety committees.
• Maintain a nursing record-keeping system that meets legal requirements and HIPAA confidentiality; log OSHA data as required.
